About the Workshop
The University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health invites nurses of all levels to attend this engaging Preceptor Workshop. This annual workshop in Tamworth is designed to enhance preceptorship skills and explore adult education techniques in greater depth.
Facilitated by experienced educators, this session contributes towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and provides valuable insights into effective student supervision and support in clinical settings.
What You’ll Learn
✔ Adult learning principles – Understand how adults learn and apply this to your teaching.
✔ Accurate student assessments – Develop skills to assess students effectively.
✔ Effectively facilitating difficult conversations – Learn techniques for managing challenging discussions.
