Good Friday at the Tamworth Lookout

The Chapel Collective invites the community to join them for their ninth annual Good Friday at the Oxley Scenic Lookout, Friday 18 April 2025 at 9.00am.

Now one of the most highly attended events hosted by The Chapel Tamworth, this outdoor service has become a beloved tradition, drawing hundreds to pause, reflect, and remember the significance of Good Friday against the stunning backdrop of Tamworth City.

“This service is a significant part of our Easter weekend,” says Andrew Mackenzie, Location Pastor of The Chapel Tamworth. “There’s something uniquely moving about coming together at the lookout with the view of the city, to commemorate Good Friday and acknowledge Jesus’ radical act of love for all mankind.”

Whether you regularly attend church or are simply curious about faith, this service offers a warm and welcoming space for all. The Good Friday Service will include live music, a short message suitable for all ages and will be followed by free barista coffee and pancakes.
