A 19 year old man died tragically last weekend, and his friends and family are raising funds to give him a proper send off.
Jayden Daly, affectionately known as JD, lost his life suddenly when his ute rolled over a few days ago, aged just 19. The born and bred Tamworth local is being remembered as a a fun-loving and sweet young man who was only just starting his life and had a bright future ahead of him.
JD’s friend Emily Nicholson created a fundraiser on GoFundMe so they can give their mate a proper send off.
“JD was a true bush kid who loved pigging and fishing.”
“He loved being with friends and family,” she said.
The fundraiser says JD was the type of bloke who would do anything for the ones he loves and it’s only fair that the ones he loved are relieved of the financial cost of a funeral for their boy.
Emily originally set the goal at a low level that would barely cover the most simple of funerals. In a good indication of how well loved JD was, at the time of writing, the fundraiser was nearing $15,000.
“I originally set the goal low because the last thing I wanted was for the goal to not be met” Emily said.
“A basic funeral is so expensive but Jayden deserves a send off.”
“All of the money is going to cover his funeral and memorial.”
Jayden leaves behind his mum, dad and older sister, and a whole lot of friends.
