October is Small Business Month! And to celebrate, we’re highlighting some of the great small businesses we have throughout the region.

Today we have three professions that you may need at some point – whether you like it or not – but this dentist with a difference, specialist immigration lawyer, and human-focusing accountant make it a little less painful.

White Leaf Dental 🖥️

We’re an award-winning business with dental practices in Armidale and Walcha. All of our staff work between both practices so you’ll see the same smiling faces at both locations.

Dr Scott Williams is the owner of the business and the principal dentist, but it really is a team effort. Scott doesn’t believe in micro-managing and wants every member of the team to feel as though they are contributing. Dr Annie is our associate dentist who is the queen of Dad jokes and Gen Z slang #slay.

Hollie is our Practice Manager, she is the chief whip cracker and keeps everyone in line and the train on the tracks. Grace is our admin whiz and aspiring lab technician. Marissa is our Walcha connection and superstar assistant but will be away for the next month on her honeymoon! Chantelle is our reception extraordinaire. Amanda is our other reception extraordinaire who despite having a full-time job working for Hollie’s husband, still works with us when she can because we have a better coffee and are more fun.

We really do care about our community. We care about our staff who we treat like family. And we look after the dentists to the best of our ability so that they can look after their patients.

Everything we do is about looking after the patients, we could probably even try to make the case that the staff bean bags benefit the patients, but we won’t. 😊 We love curing those dental phobias!

Lyden Law 🖥️

Migration law can be overwhelming, but Lyden Law is here to guide you every step of the way. Throughout October, we’ll run stories highlighting the great local businesses we have right here in our communities. This is a free service – the businesses highlighted have not paid for this story.
