The Zoetis Angus EXPO will mooooove into Tamworth on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May, and bringing with it the largest display of registered Angus Cattle in the Southern Hemisphere.
The theme of this year’s event, which forms part of the 2025 Neogen World Angus Forum, is ‘Beef for a Better Planet’ and aims to explore some of the challenges inherent within the Australian Beef Industry’s quest for Carbon Neutral in 2030.
The Expo will be held at AELEC (Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre) in Tamworth, and is expected to attract thousands, from producers and industry experts, right through to anyone keen to view the latest in cattle farming technology and innovation.
The weekend kicks off on Friday, May 2, at 6pm with the Teys Australia Angus SHOOT-OUT and Awards Ceremony, where cattle teams from across the Eastern States will compete for the Champion Team title. Tickets to this event are separate to the forum and are currently sold out.
For those passionate about all things Angus, you’ll get the opportunity to meet with top breeders from across the country presenting elite bulls, donor cows, and heifers. There’ll also be the opportunity to expand your herd at the Angus ON-ICE Genetics Auction and Elite Female Sales.
Alongside the cattle showcase, the weekend will offer a packed program of competitions, educational workshops, trade displays, and social events — including the Angus CAMPDRAFT, the Angus BBQ Competition, and the Zoetis World Angus Youth Competition.
For those seeking industry insights, the Cattle Breeders College will host a series of educational seminars on herd health, genetics, and global market trends throughout the weekend. These workshops last for around 1.5 hours and give attendees the opportunity to learn from world leading experts on topics like global protein supply, herd health and reproduction, and genetics and herd performance.
Tickets are on sale now and cost $28 for admission to both days. A full program of events is available via the World Angus Forum website.
The Neogen World Angus forum will be held in Brisbane, on Wednesday May 7 and Thursday May 8.
