An investigation is continuing into the death of a child at a home in Glen Innes on the weekend.
About 6.40am on Sunday, 30 March, emergency services were called to a home on Hunter Street, after an 11-month-old boy was found unresponsive.
NSW Ambulance paramedics took the child to Glen Innes Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
While not being treated as suspicious, an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child’s death is now being conducted by detectives attached to New England Police District.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
