The final countdown to Stars of Armidale has begun, with 9 local celebrities ready to hit the dance floor for cancer.
Tickets are now on sale for the gala event on Saturday April 5 at the Armidale Ex-Services Club.
Stars of Armidale challenges local celebrities and community leaders to step out of their comfort zones, learn a dance routine, and perform it live in front of an audience of more than 200 people, all while raising funds to support people in the Armidale community affected by cancer.

The Stars have been working hard on their dance routines, while working towards reaching their individual fundraising targets and to try to take out the prize of highest fundraiser.
All the Stars agreed, learning how to dance had been challenging but fun, and thanked the community for getting behind their fundraising efforts.
Sarah Mayo, Community Relations Coordinator at Cancer Council’s Tamworth office says she is excited to see what this year’s line-up of Stars have in store.
“2025 marks the 6th year of Stars of Armidale and this year they will be opening the curtain in a bid to raise $90,000 for Cancer Councils life saving research and local support services helping the Armidale community.” said Mayo.
“Funds raised help support Cancer Council’s life-saving cancer research, prevention, advocacy and local support programs like our free transport to treatment and accommodation, Inala House at the North West Cancer Centre for people traveling to Tamworth for their cancer treatments.”
