CH Boutique Hotel and Apartments in Tamworth has been awarded as one of Choice Hotels Asia-Pac’s top-performing properties for 2024, earning a prestigious Gold Award in recognition of its outstanding performance and dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

CH Boutique Hotel and Apartments is among a select group of 20 hotels across Australia and New Zealand, to receive an accolade.

The Choice Hotels Gold Award serves as a benchmark for excellence within the Choice Hotels network – a testament to the property’s dedication and performance throughout the year.

Winners are determined based on a range of rigorous performance metrics, including guest satisfaction, service quality, sustainability initiatives, and operational excellence.

“The Gold Awards recognise the efforts of our top performing franchisees across our five brands in the Asia-Pac region – Ascend Hotel Collection, Clarion, Quality, Comfort and Econo Lodge. They go beyond operational performance, recognising the hotels that are leading the sector when it comes to customer service, sustainability, and embodying the Choice brand values.” said Choice Hotels Asia-Pac CEO Trent Fraser.

“CH Boutique Hotel and Apartments’ achievements over the past year have been exceptional, and we’re delighted to present this award as testament to the dedication of the entire hotel team in creating memorable experiences for guests each and every day.”

CH Boutique Hotel & Apartments is a superior property in terms of the amenities and services it offers, but also from the perspective of its continued focus on investing in success.

Since purchasing the historic Central Hotel in 2014, Jye Segboer has transformed into a beacon of luxury and comfort. In 2018, the hotel underwent expansion to include the Executive Wing, and in 2024, an additional 12 rooms were added. There are further plans for another 18 rooms later to come online this year.

“For us, it comes down to recognition of our staff and the culture of service we cultivate in our team,” said Jye Segboer, CEO of Central Hospitality Group.

“We have two main areas of focus in our customer service delivery – comfort and service. Comfort is about more than a bed or a room; it’s the overall comfort of staying at the property, and this is influenced by customer service.”

The 2024 Gold Award-winning properties are entered into the Choice Hotels Asia-Pacific Hotel of the Year Awards, which will be announced next month.

Other notable mention from the New England goes to Moree’s Econo Lodge Spa and Motor Inn making the list of winners.
