A man has died after a car crashed into tree around 4am Sunday morning in Spring Ridge.
Emergency services were called to Wilmotts Road, approximately 70km south of Gunnedah, where officers found the vehicle.
The driver, a man believed to be aged in his 20’s who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
A male passenger also aged in his 20’s was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Tamworth Hospital in a stable condition.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
