Save the date New Englanders, Santa Claus in coming to Warialda this Friday, December 6, to kick start the festive season.
Warialda’s Christmas Carnival is back with a variety of family fun, including kids rides, market stalls, food vendors and a special visit from the big man himself, rolling in on the local Fire and Rescue truck.
This year’s event will also boast musical entertainment by Will Clift.
“Will is an up-and-coming artist who has been compared to the likes of Matt Corby and has actually worked with Matt.” said Courtney Loosemore, Gwydir Shire Council.
There will also be performances by local school groups and a bauble hunt sure to keep the evening buzzing.
Entry is free so if you are looking for something fun to do this Friday, put Warialda on your list.

Additional information: $15 wristband can be purchased for the duration of the carnival and kids will be able to access the rides all afternoon
