Women NSW is encouraging eligible organisations to apply for grant funding of between $100,000 and $250,000 to deliver tailored projects for women experiencing complex and persistent barriers to employment by building their work readiness and supporting them to enter or re-enter the workforce.
Successful projects will support women to secure sustainable employment by providing wrap-around support including training, mentoring and pathways to employment.
Applications for funding must target one of the following eight priority groups:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women
- carers
- older women (55 years and over)
- women and from culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- women living in regional, rural and remote areas
- women a with disability
- young women (17-24 years)
- women living in western Sydney
Women NSW will seek initial Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from organisations, making the process simpler and less time consuming to complete.
Organisations can apply for funding from $100,000 to $250,000.
Grants objective
The Return to Work Pathways Program (RTWPP) addresses the needs of women experiencing complex and persistent barriers to employment by building their work readiness and supporting them to enter the workforce.
The 2024-25 RTWPP grants funds tailored projects that work to address barriers to employment and support women from the eight priority cohorts to gain employment by providing wrap-around support including training, mentoring and pathways to employment.
Who can apply?
- Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs).
- Incorporated, not-for-profit organisations, including community organisations.
- Social enterprises
- NSW Local councils and shires (who must be listed on the Office of Local Government), including regional organisations of councils and consortia of councils
Application timelines
Expressions of Interest open on Monday, 11 November 2024 at 10am (AEDT) and close on Friday, 6 December 2024 at 3:00pm (AEDT). Applicants will be notified of the outcome in early January 2025.
