Dixie Lane 🖥️
Fashion with Twang! Providing rural lifestyle, modern western and on-trend fashion and accessories!
Here at Dixie Lane we have access to the same suppliers at the same time as the hottest western boutiques in America. We then bring it across the pond so you don’t have to.
Offering you the latest and greatest in the Western fashion Market right to your doorstep on home soil!
Seeing a need in her local and surrounding rural community, Steph McCarthy left her career in education & pursued the dream of owning her own business. Loving bright colours, a bit of flare and sparkle along with Tongue-in-Cheek T-Shirt slogans, the western fashion market came calling her name. Wanting some fun country fashion that was only available online she set out to introduce a new exciting option to her local area that filled the gap between typical saddlery or workwear business and the major chain stores.
Starting as a pop-up shop & trading at events such as shows and rodeos she soon added Dixie Lane to the online space with huge success, and opened a permanent store in Inverell soon after.
Steph has since developed Dixie Lane into its own brand and produces a variety of stock for the label in house. She still travels to approx. 20 events around the district and afar each year, and employs local fashion enthusiasts to work the store when she’s is trading on the road.
Dixie Lane stock a very unique blend of Western Fashion imported from the US. We also have taken a liking to the “Vegas” style Rodeo fashion that screams sparkle, shine and anything over-the-top. If country and cowgirl isn’t your thing, don’t stress, in addition to the glitz and glam, Dixie Lane also stocks classic country style and on-trend boutique styles to service the local community members that might not be as daring.
Formal wear also has a place in the store along with a small selection of baby & kids wear, a men’s range and of course giftware and home decor.
Operating a business in a smaller country town is all about diversity & we strive to cater to the extensive community as much as possible whilst staying true to our origins.

Organic Tshirt 🖥️
The Organic Tshirt is a family business based in Glen Innes, NSW. It has a sustainable approach that reduces overstock and produces small quantities of clothing, emphasising manufacturing and printing on demand. It also prioritises style, design, quality, and fair pricing. The quality of our clothing reflects our commitment to excellence, and we strive to provide our customers with the highest quality clothing while minimising our impact on the environment.
Our mission is to revolutionise the fashion industry by prioritising sustainability and ethical practices in every aspect of our business. We are dedicated to producing high-quality, environmentally-conscious clothing that is made to last. Our mission includes promoting transparent supply chains, supporting local Australian suppliers, and reducing our environmental impact at every production stage. We are committed to raising awareness about the importance of sustainable fashion and empowering consumers to make informed choices. Through innovation, education, and collaboration, we aim to drive the shift towards a more sustainable and ethical fashion industry.
Sandro and Stefania, based in the Northern Tablelands, are dedicated to implementing sustainable practices in the production of 100% Australian-made apparel. With 40 years of experience in the fashion industry in both Italy and Australia, Sandro brings extensive expertise to the venture. Stefania, an allied health practitioner, is deeply committed to natural and sustainable principles. Having relocated from Sydney two years ago, they have established their manufacturing facility in Glen Innes.
We are committed to implementing sustainable practices throughout our business operations. For instance, we have transitioned from paper to digital documents and focus on reducing waste by repurposing leftover fabric into bags to protect garments during shipping. Any small unused fabric is donated to other businesses and used as cleaning rags. To lessen our environmental impact, we make a conscious effort to reduce our carbon footprint by sourcing from Australian suppliers all the materials we use to make our clothes, from the fabric to the label. Moreover, we use eco-friendly packaging when shipping our products, using home-compostable mailers.
In addition, we have introduced on-demand design and manufacturing for wholesale and retail customers. This innovative approach allows our customers to have items made to order at a very competitive cost. The low returns on our business are a direct result of this. One of our services is digital patternmaking, which allows us to create patterns using the Gerber system without the need to print them. We are also researching implementing a Virtual Fitting Room for our online store
Throughout October, we’ll run stories highlighting the great local businesses we have right here in our communities. This is a free service – the businesses highlighted have not paid for this story.
