October is Small Business Month! And to celebrate, we’re highlighting some of the great small businesses we have throughout the region.

Today we have a brand new gift shop in Guyra, a trusted rural supplier that’s been part of the new England for 60 years, and a great place for a feed in Moree.

Harvest Collective 🖥️

Harvest Collective is a brand new and unique boutique gift shop located in Guyra.

Cathy has been the owner and operator of Crop Hair Design in Guyra for over 5 years now. Their move to develop the boutique at the front of their salon is a great tale of opportunity and creativity combining for something special.

“We have built and generated a thriving salon space over our 5 years in business are so very fortunate that our community values and supports us so incredibly well.”

“The front half of our shop space recently came up for rent and with no interest in its occupancy we decided to try something sustainable, inventive and supportive of our local area,” she said,

“So far it has been a wonderful venture and continues to grow and evolve according to feedback from our wonderful community here in Guyra.”

Focused on local artisans and creators, Harvest stock a fabulous variety of quality Australian brands, lovingly sourced with supporting small business in mind.

“So much of what we sell can only be found in this region and we are so blown away by the many amazing creatives that the New England area is home to!”

They also stock a large range of sustainable clothing, mostly quality pre-loved items. Their stock comes from many sources, including locally, and they offer many options for trade, sale and purchase of these items including consignment, purchase and bartering.

“So much fun to be a part of sustainable fashion at its best!”
