The Greens have been elected to the Tamworth Regional Council. So has a guy previously endorsed by an anti-vaxxer organisation. And a few other ideological viewpoints in between.
Incumbents Bede Bourke and Judy Coates were not re-elected, leaving our largest council in the region without any women.
The four surviving incumbents may have their work cut out for them trying to manage the diverse range of perspectives now on TRC.
