The annual Quirindi Show is back this weekend and gearing up for a big few days at the Quirindi Showground, with free entry and lots of entertainment.

Running over Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September with the theme “Australiana”, this year’s event is jam-packed full of Show staples alongside a night under the stars with the 2024 Toyota Star Maker, Wade Forster.

“I’m super keen to be heading to Quirindi for the Spring Show,” Wade said.

“I’ve spent a fair bit of time there with friends of mine and have always loved the town.”

“Make sure you come and say g’day and enjoy some cowboy country.”

Alongside the talented Wade Forster there will be evening performances from the fantastic Redneck Gentlemen and the brilliant Mickey & May, with Sarah Head keeping the stage charged throughout the Saturday Daytime. Quirindi Show will be offering incredible live music all day on Saturday, and it can be enjoyed for free thanks to the Salvation Army.

“We are thrilled to be putting on a live concert under the stars on the Saturday night – being able to offer this for free too is an added bonus for the committee,” said Lindsay Maybury, President of the Quirindi Show Society.

“We know it will attract visitors from across the New England North West and beyond, and is the perfect evening entertainment for all the family.”

Another exciting feature of the 2024 Quirindi Show will be live performances fromThe Crackup Sisters, who will be performing throughout the daytime on Saturday & Sunday. They will be bringing non-stop laughter and performances that can be enjoyed by everyone. As well as the Crackup Sisters there will be live wrestling by the talented team from All Star Wrestling Australia.

Families looking for a great day out can make the most of a petting zoo, Sideshow Alley, Fizzics Education, and free face painting at the Ooranga Kids Activity Area. Sunday will be the perfect day for those who have a four-legged friend, with a dog show, dog high jump & dog races taking place.

Other Quirindi Show staples on offer include pavilion exhibits, a meat smoking demonstration, show jumping, working dog trials, cattle and poultry showing, market stalls and whip cracking.
