If you like bulls, cowboys and a whole lot of fun, you won’t want to miss out on Delungra’s inaugural Bucking Bulls event this May.
Putting Delungra on the map for visitors and delivering a day of excitement for local residents, the committee is eager to bring something to town.
“We are trying to create a family friendly event for our entire community to get out and enjoy what Delungra is all about.” said Felicity Menchin, committee member.
“We want to get things happening for our community and all of the money raised will be going back into Delgungra.”
Bucking Bulls Australia will be bringing along the main show, with their heart stopping bulls ready to make our cowboys work for their eight seconds.
Will it be a local to step up and claim the top prize or will an out-of-towner show them how its done.
“Delungra is only a small country town, just on the edge of Inverell Shire,” said Felicity.
“We have great people and a big heart, and we want people to come and see what we have to offer.”
And its not all bulls and cowboys. There will be live entertainment to entertain the whole family with AJ, The Creedence Clearwater Revival and Jimi Hendric Music Show, as well as market stalls with food and drink vendors, a BBQ by Delungra RFS, jumping castle, face painting and more.
“We have something for all ages, and we are inviting everyone to come and check it out.” said Felicity.
“A big thank you to all of the businesses who have gotten behind us to make this happen.”

Gates open at 12pm.
