Arts North West is currently offering ‘Quick Response Micro Grants’ with applications closing Wednesday, October 18.
The Arts North West Micro Grants are designed to support the continuation of all creative and cultural practices and support our local arts community. The program offers financial assistance of up to $1,000 to independent professional artists, community groups, and arts organisations. The aim is to offer flexibility – allowing for projects to be focused on outcomes, skills development, and capacity-building.
Arts North West releases this funding annually to support locally determined community arts and cultural practices. These grants can be used for various purposes, such as purchasing materials for an exhibition, hosting workshops, accessing training and professional development opportunities, or acquiring materials for arts-related projects.
To be eligible for an Arts North West Micro Grant, applicants can be either individuals or arts-based organisations located in the New England North West region of NSW. They must either possess an Australian Business Number (ABN) or be capable of providing a Statement by Supplier along with their arts-related application.
“This funding provides a valuable opportunity to enable artists, community groups, and arts organisations to be supported to continue their creative endeavours and contribute to the vibrant arts and culture ecology of the New England North West” said Arts North West Executive Director, Lauren Mackley
Applications for Round 5 of the Arts North West Micro Grants must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
Successful grant recipients will be notified by Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
