Calling all brides and grooms, or wannabe brides and grooms, you won’t want to miss this.

Tangaratta Vineyards and Function Centre is setting the scene and opening the gates for a Wedding Expo, Sunday 27th August.

Step into what your wedding could be like and see what our region has to offer for your special day.

“We have many exhibitors coming on the day, with DJ’s, musicians, celebrants, photographers, makeup artist, hairdressers, cake makers, videographers, mirror booths and wedding transport, so some special cars will be here on the day.” Said Natasha Smith, Event Manager at Tangaratta Vinyards and Functions Centre.

“The mirror booths are quite new, so they are coming up from the Hunter Valley.”

Tangaratta remains a popular wedding destination in the Tamworth region and will provide the perfect backdrop to visualise and a get a feel for what you want on your big day.

“No matter where you are in your wedding planning journey, this is the place to come if you are looking for vendors or if you are tired of scrolling.” said Natasha.

“There will be amazing vendors here for you to see face-to-face, talk with and see what their products and services can offer you and your wedding.”

Tangaratta Under New Management

Tangaratta Vineyards and Functions Centre swapped hands in January this year, giving the new managers a chance to bring the Wedding Expo back after a five-year hiatus.

As a former wedding photographer, Natasha brings her knowledge of previous wedding experience to the event planning game, however, teaming up with Hannah Caterer and using their background of project management at the Conservatorium of Music, they are looking forward to hosting a dynamic expo like no other.

“If you want to prepare, if you are in the middle or at the end of organising your wedding and want to confirm you suppliers and get a visual, come along and see everyone who is here.” said Natasha.

And if you are looking for a venue, that too is available if you get in quickly.

“We have a lot of weddings coming up in the spring and into next year, and we have even got bookings rolling in for 2025.”

Gates open at 10am and close at 4pm.

Drinks and food will be available on site, and there will be live music to entertain visitors as they make their way around the expo.

You can book online or turn up and pay on the day, with a $10 entry fee.
