The annual Glen Innes Show arrives at the Glen Innes Showground on Friday 10th February to Sunday 12th February, with a something for all ages.

Friday and Saturday are the two major days, beginning at 8:30am and ending at roughly 10pm. Sunday will also start at 8:30am but conclude before sunset.

Scott Brown, President of the Glen Innes Show Society, is eager for the locals to enjoy the three-day show, especially the Friday night feature.

“We’ve got Robert ‘Dipper’ DiPierdomenico coming to open the show on Friday, an AFL star of the 1980’s, so any AFL fans looking to have an intimate night with the ‘Dipper’ should come along. We’re expecting it to be a highlight of the show.”

Tickets are available for the Friday night dinner and entertainment from the Glen Innes Show Office for $200.

Mr Brown was also optimistic about the Performance Pavilion that will host many local artists over the weekend.

“We’ve got live music and dance groups putting on a show for most of the day and evening on Friday and Saturday. We’re hopeful that’ll draw an audience from the town folks.”

Many of the treasured theatrics will return to thrill the crowd, such as FMX freestyle motorcycles, lawn mower racing, smash-up derby, horse show-jumping, and fireworks.
